Whether you are coming to relax, fish, or provide a fun time for your family and friends, Oak Beach offers a wide variety of on-site activities and entertainment. Lake Brownwood covers over 7300 acres and is open to all types of water sports including swimming, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and paddling. Book your stay at one of our cabins or reserve your spot at the RV Park at Oak Beach to begin enjoying your lake get-away!
FISHING & BOATING
There is a Boat launch conveniently located on site making it simple to get out on the water to fish! Then after a fun day of boating, you can beach dock your boat or easily remove it from the water and park it on the property.
If you prefer fishing from land, there is a nice fishing dock and pier available for your use. Lake Brownwood fish include catfish, bass, and crappie.
Check with Texas Parks and Wildlife regarding Texas State rules and regulations for fishing permits and boating. Our location does NOT sell or issue fishing licenses.
HORSESHOES
Who doesn't love a good game of horseshoes? Bring your friends and host your own Horseshoe tournament!
FRISBEE GOLF
For you sports enthusiast, bring your gear, and your friends for a challenging game on our Frisbee Golf course!
VOLLEYBALL
Enjoy a great game of volleyball on one of our two permanent volleyball courts located in the grassy areas near the lake.
Swimming
Oak Beach offers a walk-in shoreline with a designated swimming area. Swim shoes are recommended. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Swim at your own risk.
