Park Rules and Regulations

REGISTERED GUESTS OF OAK BEACH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND VISITORS. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT OAK BEACH IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY PROPERTY.

OAK BEACH RV PARK ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY LEFT UNATTENDED ON OUR PREMISES, OR THE SAFTEY OR ACTIONS OF ANY GUESTS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EVICT VIOLATORS OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS.

  1. Only registered guests, their authorized family and visitors, and approved vendors are permitted within the Oak Beach RV Park and are required to abide by the rules. The Oak Beach office should be notified if unauthorized individuals are on the grounds. 

  2.  Damaging, altering, or destroying the natural environment of any campsite, any utility hook-ups, wiring, picnic tables, or any buildings, cabins or facilities provided at Oak Beach RV Park is strictly prohibited. 

  3. Only registered guests are given access codes to the entry gates and are not to be shared with others. Access codes will be given out only from the Oak Beach staff. 

  4. Each campsite is limited to one (1) RV or camper, and one (1) recreational vehicle; tents are permitted with staff approval. All vehicles must be parked within the campsite. 

  5. All campsites shall be kept clear and clean of any clutter and trash. All trash and debris shall be placed in a dumpster and shall NOT be left outside overnight. Guest is responsible to remove all trash prior to vacating the RV Park. 

  6. Self-contained BBQ grills are permitted and should not be left unattended. *Check with park staff for burn bans before starting an open-flame campfire. 

  7. Domesticated pets (dogs and cats) are welcomed on the grounds of the RV Park if fully vaccinated and on leash at all times.  Pets are NOT permitted to be left unattended at campsite or inside facilities at any time unless kenneled. Guests are responsible for proper clean-up and disposal of their pet’s waste. 

  8. Children under 12 years of age shall be supervised when on the grounds or water and accompanied by an adult when using the restrooms or other facilities at Oak Beach RV Park.

  9. Fireworks are not permitted on the grounds of Oak Beach without prior consent of the park manager. No illegal drugs are permitted on the premises. Alcohol is BYOB (NO glass bottles allowed) and permitted as your campsite. Please drink responsibly.

  10. Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Noise should be kept to a minimum at all hours.

  11. NO LIFEGUARDS ON SITE. Each guest swims at his own risk. Oak Beach RV Park shall not be responsible for accidents. Swim shoes are highly recommended due to a recent outbreak of zebra mussels in Lake Brownwood.

  12. Failure to comply with any of these Rules and Regulations may result in additional fees charged to the guest’s account or eviction from the Oak Beach RV Park.

  • How can I inquire about reservations at Oak Beach Lake Brownwood?

    • Visit our online reservations page to check availability and book your stay. Or call our Manager daily 9:00am - 5:00pm at (432) 741-9042 for questions.

  • Do you offer long-term stay at Oak Beach RV Park?

    • We do offer extended stay, but NOT permanent year-round parking. Call (432) 741-9042 for more information on extended-stay.

  • Will my card automatically be charged?

    • Effective 06/03/2021, all reservations require payment at the time of booking. Be prepared to provide an active credit card number at the time of booking.

  • Can I request a specific site at Oak Beach RV Park?

    • We do our best to accommodate the needs of our customers. If you have a special accommodation, please let the office know and we will do our best to provide you a site to meet those needs. We prioritize needs with respect to all campers.

    • If you do not have a specific accommodation need, we will happily take site preferences, but cannot guarantee the site requested. We appreciate our customers’ understanding in this matter.

  • What time do I need to check in and check out at Oak Beach RV Park?

    • Check-in begins at 12:00 noon and check out is 12:00 noon. If you need early check-in or late check-out, contact the park manager.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • There is no charge to cancel as long as you call us 48 hours or more before check-in of your reservation. If we do not hear from you, we reserve the right to run your card for at least one night as a “no show.”

  • Can I get a refund?

    • All customers can receive 100% refund as long as we are given 48 hours' notice prior to check-in.

    • No refunds are given for early departures.

  • Can I have family or friends visit me while camping at Oak Beach RV Park?​

    • Yes - Family and friends can visit as long as the above listed rules are followed. Guests need to avoid parking in other campsites. 

  • Do you accept large groups of campers at Oak Beach RV Park?

    • If you are traveling with a group, you must call the park office prior to making reservations. Due to the size of our park, we are not always able to accommodate large groups.

  • Is there an on-site store for purchasing food or supplies?

    • We do NOT have an on-site store. Please bring items such as lake towels, sunscreen, and all supplies that you may need to enjoy your stay. There are local convenience stores nearby to purchase food and snacks.

  • Do you sell Fishing or Boating Licenses at Oak Beach Lake Brownwood?
